Eyelash Extension Care
To maintain, care and prolong the life of your lashes, please follow this after care advice
For the first 24 hours
-
Avoid getting your lashes wet to allow the adhesive to cure thoroughly
For the first 48 hours
-
Avoid facials and any hot steam from showers or saunas. Also avoid sunbeds and swimming.
General aftercare and advice
-
Do not use mechanic eyelash curlers.
-
Do not perm or tint your lash extensions as this will destroy the bonds.
-
Eyelash tinting (if required) must be done before your eyelash extension procedure
-
Gently pat dry your eyes and lashes after washing your face. Do not rub dry!
-
Avoid sleeping on your lashes.
-
Do not use mascara on your lash extensions as it can dissolve the adhesive and shorten their life expectancy. If you must use mascara, please ask us about our specially formulated Mascara or, alternatively, you can use a water based mascara, applied to just the tips of your lashes. Do not use waterproof mascara!
-
Do not use oil based cleansers, moisturisers, eye cream and makeup remover on or near your eyes. Only use water based cleansers or as us for the specially formulated Make-Up Remover Pads. Avoid using cotton wool as the fibers may stick to the bonded area.
-
You may wish to remove contact lenses before showering. The lash extensions hold water and this may cause slight discomfort for contact lens wearers until the lashes dry.
-
Do not pick or pull out your Lash Extensions. Each one is bonded to an individual natural lash so pulling out your extensions could pull out you natural lash with it. For this reason, please return to us for maintenance or, professional, removal of your lashes
-
Do return for regular maintenance (every 2 to 3 weeks) to prolong the life of your lashes.
