Waxing is a very effective method of hair removal. It is far more preferable to shaving, as it removes the hair from the roots. After your first wax, the results can last for 4 to 6 weeks (depending on your hairs re-growth speed). Most people find the re-growth is minimal during the first two weeks but increases, noticeably, during the third and fourth week, at which point it's best to be thinking about making another appointment.

With continued, regular, waxing the length of time needed between treatments will increase and each visit will become less painful because the hair will grow back slower, finer and sparser. Eventually, after many visits, the hair re-growth may even stop.
